  1. Japan is one of the weird yet also amazing places you will find here on earth. The culture there can be a bit shocking at first but in time you will learn to appreciate just how beautiful and respectful these people are. My work actually requires me to travel a lot. As a moderate stamp collector, I usually get stamps from the countries I visit – with Japan being one of them. I then frame the stamps and hang them up on a certain wall at home so that whenever I see the stamps I have framed, I get to recall the many beautiful places I’ve visited. A Japanese acquaintance of mine learned about this little hobby of mine and gave me around 200 stamps ranging from anime themed stamps, nature themed stamps, and Japanese castles to kabuki themed stamps. While the stamps I got were not all unique, the fact that they were given to me for simply having the hobby of collecting stamps makes this Japan Stamp Collection of mine all the more memorable. When I have the time, I’m planning to place all the unique stamps I got into one large frame. Also, if I need to get a particular stamp online, I normally get it from fellow collectors at StampWorld.com.
